Mina Markovič On Course For Incredible World Cup Season | EpicTV Climbing Daily, Ep. 548

2019-03-04 3

Last weekend, the Lead Climbing World Cup rolled into Imst, Austria for the third round of this year's tour. In the women's event, it was largely business as usual with Mina Markovič topping the podium for the second time this season and Austria's Jessica Pilz continuing her consistent run in third. Jajnja Garnbret took second while, in the only big upset to proceedings, overall title contender Jain Kim finished down in twelfth. In the men's event, it was a big night for France with Romain Desgranges taking gold to put him second in the overall rankings behind fellow countryman Gautier Supper. Desgranges was followed by Jakob Schubert in second and Domen Skofic in third with Adam Ondra continuing a consistent if unspectacular season in fourth. The next round of the lead event will take place in Stavanger, Norway in three weeks' time, but before that we have the final round of the bouldering event in Munich. We'll be bringing you all of the action right here on Climbing Daily.
